Chelsea talented player Cesc Fabregas has admitted that he would not be surprised to see Spanish giants Real Madrid make an attempt to sign Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois from his Stamford Bridge club in the summer transfer window.
Thibaut Courtois has successfully established himself as one of the Premier League’s top goalkeepers since his arrival at Chelsea and helped the west London club win the title in the 2014-15 season.
And already in Spain, it is projected that Real Madrid would be bound to be linked with a handful of top players as the summer transfer window draws nearer.
Chelsea Spanish midfielder Fabregas is of the opinion that Courtois is the best goalkeeper in the world and he would not be surprised to see Madrid make a transfer swoop to try and sign him in the summer.
Fabregas speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Cope said It would not surprise him at all because Courtois is the best keeper in the world.
He attested to the fact that it is quite normal that the best teams in the world would want the best goalkeeper in the world.
The duo of Fabregas and Courtois will be hoping to play for Chelsea when the club play Swansea City in the Premier League at home this weekend.
The Stamford Bridge club are currently eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table as things stands.
