Owen Made Interesting Comments About Chelsea And Swansea Clash

Former Liverpool Man States His Prediction For Chelsea v Swansea Game

Michael Owen looks ahead to the blues Premier League game with Swansea on Saturday afternoon

Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen is already tipping Chelsea to continue their march towards the Premier League title by getting a comfortable win over Swansea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The west London club head into the game looking to continue their strong form under their new Italian boss Antonio Conte.

The Stamford Bridge club have firmly established themselves as the favourites to win the Premier League title this season with them currently eight points clear at the top of the table.

Chelsea’s remarkable upturn in form this current campaign has been in stark contrast to their struggles last season, when they ended up in the 10th position in the table and without a trophy too -  following the sacking of now former manager Jose Mourinho in December 2015.

Chelsea host Swansea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon as they attempt to take another step towards winning the title.

And Micheal Owen, like many others, can’t see anything else but a victory at home.

Owen writing in his column for BetVictor said Swansea's manager Paul Clement’s have picked up one more point in 2017 (12) than leaders Chelsea in 2017 and he returns to Stamford Bridge with a confident and improving side.

He felt that Clement, who was assistant to Carlo Ancelotti at Chelsea between 2009 and 2011, should be warmly applauded for the great job he has done at the Liberty Stadium since he took over Swansea.

He however think Chelsea would get the full points.
