Former Arsenal Forward States His Prediction As Chelsea Clash With Swansea

Former Arsenal Man States His Confident Prediction for Chelsea v Swansea

Ian Wright is confident that the Premier League leaders will secure three points against opponent Swansea City.

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright is already tipping Chelsea to ease to a comfortable win when they face Swansea City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

The Stamford Bridge club played out a 1-1 draw with promoted side Burnley in their last Premier League match at Turf Moor just before their FA Cup break.

And in their FA Cup fifth round that was played last weekend, the blues were 2-0 winners against Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

As things stands now, the west London club are eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City in the Premier League title race with just 13 games to play.

Chelsea have lost just one game in their last 19 games in all competitions which made many continually regard them as title favourites.

And Wright, speaking to The Sun Goals podcast ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Swansea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon, said Conte's side are in the perfect position and he think they are going to win.

Chelsea ended last season in the tenth position in the Premier League table after a disappointing defence of their previous title crown

The new Italian boss signed five players in the summer transfer window as he looked to overhaul the Chelsea squad.
