Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte Opens Up About Jose Mourinho's Side
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has opened up about Manchester United with his recent comments on United's position in the Premier League after 24 games.
The Italian coach has warned his Chelsea side that Mourinho's men still pose a threat in the Premier League title race.
Chelsea are currently flying high at the top of the EPL table as they look to win the League title in Conte’s first campaign at the west London club.
After building a nine-point lead at the top of the table, Chelsea are still regarded as the heavy favourites to lift the trophy in May .
Manchester United on the other hand have been struggling to produce consistent form under Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho and they are currently sixth-placed in the table, 14 points behind Chelsea.
Conte however feels that the Old Trafford club are still in with a chance of winning the title this term. He warned his players that they must step their game up ahead of their clash with Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
The former Juventus boss speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon said there are six teams that are very strong that can fight to win the title - and Manchester United also have a great squad.
He attested that despite they having a lead of nine points, it would be a great mistake if they think they are very close to winning the title.
