Manchester United Are Turning Into Chelsea - Pundit Claims
Danny Mills thinks Manchester United are now showing similarities to Chelsea's style of play when Jose Mourinho was still boss at the Stamford Bridge.
Man United stretched their unbeaten run in the Premier League to 16 games on Saturday with a comfortable 2-0 win over Watford at their own home ground.
The Old Trafford club have now begun to show the type of consistency expected from one of the Portuguese coach’s teams and they look keenly to have made significant progress since the Portuguese' appointment at the club last May.
And former defender Danny Mills is of the opinion that Manchester United are likely to be very difficult to beat between now and the end of the season.
Mills speaking to BBC Sport’s Football Focus stated that what we are now seeing at Manchester United under Jose Mourinho is that of Chelsea style of play - and Inter Milan's too.
He feels that since they are defensively strong, they are not going to lose many games.
Mourinho's side are currently sixth in the Premier League table and are 11 points behind table leaders Chelsea before Conte's men trip to Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
United are aiming to break back into the top four this season so they can grab a Champions League ticket next season.
