Report: Chelsea Manager Could Make Arsenal Star Chelsea’s First Summer Signing

Reports says Chelsea are now keeping a close eye on Alexis Sanchez's contract situation at Arsenal and could surely make a summer bid.

According to new reports in the British media, premier league table leaders Chelsea are keeping a close eye on Alexis Sanchez’s contract situation at Arsenal with a view to a summer bid for the Chilean.

The Daily Mirror claimed that Chelsea are among the clubs monitoring the situation of Alexis Sanchez at Arsenal as the 28-year-old continues to stall on signing a brand new contract.

Sanchez’s current deal at Arsenal is set to expire in the summer of 2018 and the star player is yet to commit his future to the Gunners.

Coach Arsene Wenger’s current contract at the north London club is also set to end at the end of this season. The French coach' situation has further add to the uncertainty at the Emirates club.

The Daily Mirror also states further that Chelsea are ready to sell striker Michy Batshuayi just a year after signing the Belgian player from Ligue 1 side Marseille, and that Alexis Sanchez is being lined up as a possible replacement.

The story also claims that Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte is ready to bring young Tammy Abraham from Bristol City into his squad next season. Abraham has scored 18 goals on loan at Bristol City this season.

Conte and his men are currently preparing for their next Premier League game against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Monday.
