Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard has hailed N’Golo Kante’s contribution to the blues cause in the Premier League this current campaign.

Kante moved to the Stamford Bridge club in a big-money deal from Premier League defending champions Leicester City in last year's summer transfer window.

The France international was one of the surprise packages in the 2015-16 season after the strong defensive midfielder helped to inspire Leicester City to an unlikely Premier League title victory.

The blues on the other hand, ended up on the tenth position which led to the appointment of former Juventus coach Antonio Conte as manager and the subsequent purchase of N'Golo Kante.

And the strong Frenchman has been ever-present in the Conte's starting line-up to help his Stamford Bridge outfit build up a 10-point lead over their closest rivals Tottenham.


And Frank Lampard speaking to Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football show about the impact of Kante after Chelsea’s 2-1 victory at West Ham on Monday night, said Kante has been a revelation for Chelsea.

Lampard says Kante can win the ball back so quickly and can also move the ball so quickly.

The former Leicester City star played his part in Eden Hazard’s opening goal in Chelsea’s 2-1 victory at West Ham.
