Chelsea Star Player Reveals Why He Is Playing Better For His Club Under New Boss
Eden Hazard talks about his Chelsea resurgence under new manager Antonio Conte
Chelsea star player Eden Hazard has revealed that staying injury free this current term has been the key to his improved form for his side under new manager Antonio Conte.
The talented playmaker was widely criticised for failing to deliver last season as he and his Chelsea team-mates struggled to produce nice form - which made them finished tenth in the table and without a trophy. This made way for the sacking of Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho in December 2015.
However this season, the Belgian has been in much improved form and has been one of the Premier League’s standout players so far.
Hazard has already scored 10 times and has provided three assists in 24 Premier League appearances for Antonio Conte’s side to help the Stamford Bridge club establish themselves as the firm favourites to win the title this season.
And the 26-year-old has talked about what he thinks has changed for him at Chelsea this season.
Hazard, quoted by The Daily Express, admitted that last season everyone knows he was not good enough.
He stated that he however learn from his mistakes and he gave everything to come back and now he is in his level.
He added that he started this season well and fit with no injuries and that it is better to play when one is ready.
Chelsea are set to take on Swansea City in the Premier League this weekend.
