Arsenal And Chelsea Set To Lock Horns Over This Player Come Summer

As far as transfer is concerned, lots of excitements are already being predicted to occur come summer. And two English Premier League giants - the duo of Arsenal and Chelsea, are both being touted as possible destinations for Atletico Madrid star player Yannick Carrasco come summer.

Reports in the British media indicates that the two English clubs could be set to war for the signature of Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco when the summer transfer window comes.

According to The Sun,  both London clubs have emerged as contenders to sign the 23-year-old. In recent seasons, the winger has emerged as one of the “hottest properties” in European football.

It was additionally claimed that the winger has also attracted interest from other top clubs including Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, as his future at the Madrid club beyond the summer looks unclear.

It was also added that this season, Carrasco has become “unsettled” at Atletico Madrid after he allegedly fell out with manager Diego Simeone.

The situation reportedly means that the La Liga club could be tempted into selling the player for around £40m in the summer.


It was projected that the duo of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain would be able to afford that price, but that of Arsenal is not yet certain.
