Coach Antonio Conte wants to strengthen his squad in the winter transfer window and the Italian boss is looking to sign a new striker.
According to reports from the Sun, the Stamford Bridge club are in talks to sign 31-year-old Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente.
Chelsea at the moment can boast of having the best striker in the PL in the person of Diego Costa. Additionally, they even have a quality backup striker like Michy Batshuayi who was signed last summer.
The Sun additionally stated that Conte is considering to loan out Michy so as to replace him with Llorente. It was also said that the former Athletic Bilbao star is keen on joining Chelsea too. When Conte was still boss at Juventus, he was signed and so the Italian boss is looking for a re-union.
Fernando Llorente is a classic star who has won major prizes in his career for both club and country. He has won the World Cup and the European Championship with his national side and has also won multiple Serie A titles with Juve - including winning the Europa League with Sevilla last season.
He joined Swansea last summer and has scored 6 times in 13 league starts.
