Chelsea Ready To Sign Versatile Premier League Player
Former Juventus boss and Chelsea FC coach Antonio Conte is seeking to strengthen his squad in the ongoing winter transfer window and push for the Premier League title.
The Stamford Bridge club are currently topping the competitive English Premier League table with a five point lead over nearest rivals Liverpool.
Just last summer, the blues strengthened their strike-force, and their midfield department, with their back line too.
Even as at that, they did not sign any player to help reinforce their attacking midfield. But right now as things are going, If the latest reports are anything to go by, then the Blues are linked with a versatile attacker.
The Times reported that the Chelsea boss has made West Ham United star Michail Antonio his top transfer priority this January.
Last summer after a nice campaign, the 26-year-old star attacker signed a new deal with West Ham. He is even regarded to be more better this season as in 19 league appearances, the attacker has directly contributed in 9 goals - scoring 8 times and providing a assist.
The former Southampton player is a versatile star and can play anywhere in the attacking third. But as the Times reported, the Chelsea boss is planning to utilize him in the wing-back position in his usual 3-4-3 formation.
