Chelsea Manager Antonio Conte Admires This Chelsea Player's Attitude At Stamford Bridge

Chelsea Manager Opens Up About Chelsea Player At The Club This Season

Antonio Conte has heaped lots of praise on Willian for the professional attitude the player has shown at Chelsea this term.

Chelsea Italian coach Antonio Conte has praised Willian for the professional attitude he has been showing at the Stamford Bridge club this current campaign.

The Samba star player was one of Chelsea's best players last season but has unfortunately found his first-team opportunities to be somewhat restricted under their new boss this season.

This season so far, he has scored five goals and has provided one assist in the Premier League but has however been limited to just 12 starts in the top flight this season.

The former Juventus manager has however been delighted by Willian’s professional attitude this term despite the Brazil international’s lack of playing time at the Stamford Bridge club.

Conte speaking to Chelsea’s website after their 3-2 victory over Swansea on Saturday said when a manager has in his squad certain type of players that they put in the team and does not think of themselves but the team, then it is quite great. He then named Willian as an example.

The Brazilian playmaker will be hoping to feature for his Chelsea side when they return to Premier League action with a trip to West Ham United on Monday.

As things stands now, the Stamford Bridge club are the heavy favourites to win the Premier League title this season. They are at the top of the table with just 12 games left to play.
