Man United Trying To Snatch Classic Player From Chelsea Grip

With the way Chelsea rival Manchester United are presently, It will be a good idea if they should sign a top quality defensive midfielder in the ongoing winter transfer window. Already, French international Tiemoue Bakayoko is heavily linked to a move to Old Trafford.

Just few days ago, Daily Record claimed that the red devils are interested in signing the 22-year-old holding midfielder. It was specially highlighted that Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the star player.

Presently interestingly, sources have told ESPN that the Portuguese tactician really wants to sign Bakayoko in the summer but that he may move for the player this month because Chelsea are also looking to sign him as well.

The Times reported last week that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants Bakayoko who would cost around £40M.

This season so far, he has featured in 27 games for his side and has scored twice. Monaco are two points behind leaders Nice in the French league and they would be facing Manchester City in the Champions League next month. So we shouldn't be surprised if Monaco resolve to keeping their prized possession.

Nevertheless, if Chelsea should get him, Conte needs to be zealous. It was been reported that Man United are selling Morgan Schneiderlin to Everton. This means Mourinho will have some funds to quicken the deal as Bakayoko is a player that can add value to his midfield.
